Solutions  ·  Greenhouse farming

One matched system for the whole greenhouse.

Cover film  ·  Shade net  ·  Insect net  ·  Drip tape  ·  Ground cover

Most greenhouse problems start with mismatched materials: film that fails early under strong equatorial sun, mesh so fine the house overheats, drip tape laid at the wrong spacing. We put cover, shading, pest exclusion, irrigation and floor materials together around your crop, site and budget, and supply them as one wholesale order.

Commercial greenhouse covered with film and netting

Climate & light

PE, EVA or PO film chosen for UV life, diffusion, thermal and anti-drip needs. Typically 80–200 μm thick and 4–16 m wide.

Protection & water

Insect net, shade net, drip tape, mulch or weed fabric and fiberglass supports, matched to ventilation, pests and row layout.

Wholesale supply

One quotation, consolidated delivery from Nairobi and repeatable specifications for reorders.

What goes into the system

Materials selected to work together.

We start with the greenhouse environment, then match cover, protection, floor, irrigation and structural accessories to how the house will actually be run.

01

Greenhouse cover film

PE, EVA and PO films with thickness, width, UV life, light transmission, diffusion, thermal and anti-drip performance specified for the project.

02

Pest exclusion & shading

HDPE insect nets and shade nets chosen by target pest, mesh, airflow, shade rate, tensile strength and local sun exposure.

03

Ground & soil management

Mulch films and permeable weed-control fabric for moisture retention, weed suppression and cleaner, easier-to-manage greenhouse floors.

04

Irrigation & support

Drip tape and emitter layouts for targeted watering and fertigation, plus corrosion-resistant fiberglass rods for low tunnels and net supports.

Application scenarios

Configured for real crops and real conditions.

The right specification changes with crop density, pest size, sun, wind, rainfall, water quality and how many seasons the installation has to last.

Commercial vegetable greenhouses

Tomatoes, capsicum and cucumbers under long-life film, with perimeter insect net against whitefly, thrips and Tuta absoluta, and drip lines matched to double-row planting.

Nurseries, flowers and young plants

Diffused light, controlled shade and ventilation-friendly mesh for propagation houses, cut-flower farms and seedling operations.

Hot, high-UV and high-altitude sites

Equatorial sun at altitude is hard on plastics. We prioritise UV-stabilised film, suitable shade rates and airflow-friendly mesh, from the highlands to the coast.

Complete packages

Start with a package, then tailor it.

Pick the closest starting point. We adjust dimensions, functions, colours, roll lengths, packaging and labelling to the farm, or to the market you sell into.

Why TradeBridge

One project brief. One coordinated material plan.

The value of a complete solution is not more products. It is fewer specification conflicts, clearer purchasing and materials chosen for the same goal.

01

Integrated sourcing

Film, nets, ground cover, drip tape and supports on one quotation and one delivery plan.

02

Specification matching

Film thickness and width, mesh and shade rate, fabric GSM, emitter spacing and rod diameter matched to the project.

03

Climate-based choices

UV level, thermal function, diffusion and condensation control chosen for your climate and expected service life.

04

Agreed quality checks

Dimensions, thickness or GSM, tensile strength, flow consistency and packaging agreed before production.

05

Local stock, local support

Core netting and drip lines held in Nairobi, with our team on WhatsApp for specs, quotes and delivery updates.

06

Repeatable reorders

Approved specifications kept on file, so the next order, or the next greenhouse, matches the first.

How it works

How we build a greenhouse solution around your project.

Five steps take you from farm requirements to a clear, checkable product list, with fewer surprises at installation.

Step 01

Tell us your conditions

Crop, greenhouse dimensions, location, climate, pest pressure, water source, expected service life and budget.

Step 02

We engineer the product mix

Cover-film functions, insect mesh, shade rate, ground cover, irrigation layout and support dimensions.

Step 03

Approve specs and samples

Review datasheets, dimensions, colours, roll formats, samples and packaging before the order is confirmed.

Step 04

Supply and inspection

Goods are checked against the agreed points, such as thickness, GSM, dimensions, mesh and emitter flow, before dispatch.

Step 05

Deliver, install, repeat

Consolidated delivery, clear labelling and an approved specification on file for reorders and expansion.

Example configuration

Protected-cropping package for a high-UV vegetable market

An agro-dealer supplying vegetable growers in a high-sun region needs cover, shade, pest-control, floor and irrigation materials that work together. A typical configuration combines UV-stabilised greenhouse film, crop-specific shade net, insect net, weed-control fabric, drip tape and fiberglass supports under one specification and one packing plan.

FAQ

Greenhouse solution FAQs

A starting point only. Final specifications are confirmed against your crop, climate, greenhouse design and market.

What information do you need to configure a greenhouse solution?

Crop type, greenhouse or tunnel dimensions, location, temperature range, sun and wind exposure, target pests, water source, row spacing, expected service life and quantity. Photos or drawings of the structure help us spot installation constraints early.

How do I choose between PE, EVA and PO greenhouse film?

PE is the economical, widely used option. EVA blends add flexibility and better thermal behaviour. PO (polyolefin) multilayer films usually give the longest service life and the most stable additive performance, at a higher price. The right choice depends on crop value, climate and how many seasons you expect from the cover. We will show you the trade-offs side by side.

Which insect-net mesh should I use?

Choose the mesh for the smallest pest you need to keep out, then check ventilation. Common agricultural options run from about 24 to 80 mesh. Finer mesh stops smaller insects such as thrips but reduces airflow, so vent area matters as much as mesh count.

What shade rate suits a greenhouse?

It depends on the crop’s light demand and the season. Shade nets are available from about 30% to 95%. Over-shading cuts yield, so we size the shade rate to the crop rather than to the hottest day of the year.

Can products be customised for our market or project?

Yes. Within production limits we can adjust dimensions, UV level, film functions, mesh, shade rate, colour, fabric GSM, emitter spacing and flow, roll length, labelling and packaging, including private label for distributors.

Which quality checks can be agreed?

Typical inspection points include dimensions, thickness or GSM, tensile performance, light transmission, shade rate, mesh count and emitter flow. Where needed, test methods and acceptance criteria are agreed before production.
