Solutions  ·  Vegetable farming

From seedling protection to harvest.

Tunnel film  ·  Insect net  ·  Shade net  ·  Mulch  ·  Drip tape

A vegetable solution is a set of covering, pest-control, shading, ground and irrigation materials chosen for one crop, one climate and one production cycle. It works for greenhouses, low tunnels and open fields alike, without forcing every farm into the same specification.

Insect netting protecting vegetable seedlings

Crop protection

Film, insect net and shade net matched to the crop and season, managing heat, sun, heavy rain and pest entry while keeping the light and airflow vegetables need.

Root-zone water

Mulch film or weed fabric combined with drip tape to put water near the roots, cut evaporation and keep rows clean.

Wholesale supply

Assortments for agro-dealers and project volumes for contractors, on one quotation.

What goes into the system

Product systems for more controlled vegetable production.

Each category is chosen for the production problem it has to solve: climate exposure, pest pressure, weeds, water use, crop support or season extension.

01

Greenhouse & tunnel films

PE, EVA and PO films for greenhouses and tunnels, with UV stability, light transmission, diffusion, thermal, anti-fog and anti-drip functions.

02

Insect exclusion & shading

HDPE insect nets and shade nets chosen by target pest, mesh, airflow, sun intensity and crop light demand. Shade options run from 30% to 95%.

03

Mulch & weed management

Black, clear and silver-black mulch films plus permeable weed-control fabric for soil temperature, moisture retention and weed suppression.

04

Drip irrigation & support

Drip tape for targeted irrigation and fertigation, with lightweight fiberglass rods for low tunnels, net supports and plant training.

Application scenarios

Solutions for different vegetables and production models.

The mix changes with crop spacing, root depth, canopy density, season length, target pest and the balance between protection and ventilation.

Greenhouse tomatoes, capsicum and cucumbers

High-value crops under film, with insect net at vents and doors, seasonal shade, and drip lines laid to double-row spacing.

Leafy greens, seedlings and low tunnels

Kales, spinach, cabbages and nursery transplants under low tunnels and fine mesh, with mulch and drip for even growth.

Open-field and seasonal production

Onions, French beans, watermelon and other field crops on mulch and drip, with roll sizes matched to beds and field blocks.

Complete packages

Ready-to-configure packages for major vegetable systems.

Use these as a starting point, then adjust film type, mesh, shade rate, GSM, emitter spacing, flow rate, dimensions, UV level and packaging.

Why TradeBridge

A coordinated system with fewer specification gaps.

Better vegetable production does not come from the highest specification in every category. It comes from matching performance, cost and service life to the farm’s real conditions.

01

Integrated supply

Crop cover, pest exclusion, shading, ground control, irrigation and supports on one product plan.

02

Crop-specific configuration

Materials chosen by vegetable, planting density, crop cycle, weather, pest size, soil and water.

03

No blind over-specification

Insect exclusion and shade balanced against the light and airflow healthy vegetables need.

04

Flexible specifications

Film thickness and width, mesh and shade rate, fabric GSM, drip flow and spacing, and rod diameter.

05

Defined quality checks

Dimensional, physical and flow checks agreed before production and kept for repeat orders.

How it works

How we configure a vegetable cultivation solution.

Five steps convert crop and site information into a clear list of materials before anything is ordered.

Step 01

Define the crop and site

Vegetable type, area, greenhouse or bed dimensions, location, season, pest pressure, water source and target service life.

Step 02

Build the combination

Protection, shading, ground management, irrigation and support components for your production model.

Step 03

Approve the specification

Dimensions, functions, colours, mesh, GSM, emitter spacing, flow, roll lengths, labels and samples.

Step 04

Supply and inspect

Agreed characteristics checked, such as thickness, width, shade rate, permeability or emitter-flow consistency.

Step 05

Deliver and standardise reorders

Consolidated delivery, with the approved specification as the baseline for every reorder or expansion.

Example configuration

Protected vegetable package for tomato and capsicum growers

An agro-dealer serving tomato and capsicum growers wants one coordinated assortment for protected cultivation. A typical configuration combines greenhouse film, insect net, season-specific shade net, mulch film, drip tape and fiberglass supports, organised around local sun exposure, pest pressure, row spacing and installation practice.

FAQ

Vegetable cultivation FAQs

Final product selection is always confirmed against the vegetable, climate, pests, soil, water and installation conditions.

What information do you need before configuring a solution?

Vegetable type, planting area, bed and row dimensions, plant spacing, growing method, location, season, sun and climate conditions, target pests, water source, expected service life and order quantity. Photos or drawings help.

How do I choose insect netting for vegetables?

Start with the smallest pest you need to block, then make sure airflow stays adequate for the crop and climate. Finer mesh reduces ventilation, so pest exclusion alone should not decide the choice.

Which mulch film colour suits vegetables?

Black film suppresses weeds and holds moisture. Clear film warms soil faster. Silver-black combines weed control with a reflective surface that can help deter some insects. The best choice depends on the crop, season, climate and goal.

How should drip-tape spacing and flow be chosen?

Emitter spacing should match crop spacing and how water spreads in your soil. Common spacings are 10 to 50 cm and common flows 1, 2, 4 or 8 L/h. Working pressure and filtration must suit the system design.

Can one order combine different products?

Yes. Films, nets, fabrics, drip tape and fiberglass rods can be combined and customised within production limits, including dimensions, UV level, mesh, GSM, emitter spacing, flow, roll format, labels and packaging.

What quality checks can be done before delivery?

Dimensions, film thickness, fabric GSM, tensile performance, light or shade properties, water permeability and emitter flow. Test methods and acceptance criteria are agreed before production.
